the last dictator of europe makes it happen
when magath says "jump" everyone jumps, otherwise they need to do 100 sit-ups

well, 3 out of 3 for Schalke - defeats that is. only Huntelaar and Howedes came out with any credit, I thought - Huntelaar created most of their chances by himself, while Howedes stood out for not making a bunch of stupid mistakes like the rest of his defence. Raul and Metzelder were both off the pace, Metzelder getting subbed off at halftime...
Hoffenheim look very impressive, and they seem to have a lot of depth as well. Luiz Gustavo looks like a great player... they should have scored more goals but Ibisevic wasted about 10 chances.
Magath's job must be in serious danger... I read that Manuel Neuer actually wore a t-shirt protesting against Magath or something like that.

Schalke is a good team in progress, give them few weeks.
thought Neuer had a decent game as well, just unlucky with the free kick at the end.
bayern can look forward to a good keeper to follow Butt.

Magath made the mistake of overestimating Metzelder and underestimating Westermann. As for Neuer, I doubt he'd go to Bayern when Arsenal and ManU both want him really bad. They're probably just waiting to see how he does in the Champions League this year before buying him. How ironic if he goes to Arsenal to replace Almunia who replaced Lehmann, the only difference being how much younger he is than Jens when he went to London.

don't think Arsenal really want him, not right now anyway. in a year or two we'll be giving our young prospect Szceczny the #1 jersey... if we wanted to sign him, we would have tried to do it sooner rather than later (i.e. before the WC if possible). now his value is probably too high to make it realistic.
